Congratulations to our NZ representatives for Water Polo Emma Ballard (pictured left) played in the New Zealand Under-17 World Youth Champs in Canberra and is aiming for the Spain 2014 World Games. In 2012 she represented New Zealand Under-16 and has played for Waikato since Year 9 starting out in Year 7. Holly Jonson (pictured right) has been selected for the New Zealand Youth Team to play in a Tri-Series in Brisbane in July. In 2012 she also represented New Zealand Under-16 and has played Water polo since she was in Year 7. Congratulations to Carly McIlroy for her U-14 national title Carly McIlroy (pictured left) is the under-14 girls' rock climbing national champion and holds a regional title at under-18 level . The year nine pupil is currently building up to the Oceania Rock Climbing Championships in Noumea from May 25-26, McIlroy is excited about her first experience overseas with the best climbers from Australia, New Zealand and New Caledonia all competing, McIlroy will be aiming for a great performance in her age group and hopes it will be enough to qualify for the world event later in the year and in 2014.
