In 2009 the Hamilton Girls' High School Board of Trustees established The Foundation, which is a charitable trust.
The Foundation manages two accounts: an Endowment Fund, from which the interest each year is used to support students and staff; and a Building Fund, which is to be used to build new state of the art facilities on the campus to support 21st century learning.
The Foundation has established a Development Office to coordinate fundraising activities to ensure that the vision for the development of the school comes to fruition. The Foundation and Development Office thank all those who donate so generously and we look forward to working with our wider school community.

Since the Foundation is a charitable Trust registered CC39561 - this enables any donor to gain tax deductibility for their donations in any tax year. Receipts are issued for this purpose.
