Hamilton Girls' High School School Fees 2011

Money which is provided in the form of a fee/donation by the school community is never spent on running costs.  It covers the provision of a health service for students (nurse, equipment, materials), certificates and prizes, a school diary, identity card and regular newsletters.  It is used in the administration of sports teams and exchanges and school leaver documentation.  Some of these services are not available to you and your daughter if the school fee has not been paid.

It is expected that every caregiver will pay this levy unless arrangements are made with the Principal

These are provided free, but losses or damage must be paid for. 
An initial administration fee of $20 is charged to offset the expenses
involved in covering and maintaining textbooks.

Some subjects require an additional fee.  Please check with the appropriate Dean.

International Fee Paying Students

$10,800 per annum

There are only a limited number of places available for such students.  The annual fee is set by the Board of Trustees.  The fee includes $420 which is payable to the Ministry of Education

 Hostel Students

+$200 Acceptance fee +$285.25 building levy

All fees can be paid by cheque, cash, Eftpos and automatic payment OR direct to the school bank account (National Bank 06 03170665406-00.  Reference students name and the four digit ID number - as on the Invoice Statement). 
We are unable to accept credit card payments.

Some of these additional benefits are not available if the school fee has not been paid.

Materials Fees: Some subjects require an additional fee. Please check with the appropriate Dean. Year 9 students pay a fee to cover materials used in practical courses.

Foreign Fee Paying Students:  There is only a limited number of places available for such students. The annual fee is set by the Board of Trustees.  In addition a $420 fee is payable to the Ministry of Education.

School-wide Technology Levy:  All students are required to pay a $10 contribution towards the cost of school-wide technology including provision of internet access for students.

Magazine:  The magazine is not compulsory, $20 payment if required.
