Hamilton Girls' High School ACADEMY Of SPORT

In 2005 Hamilton Girls' High School established a sports academy for our elite athletes.

We are continuing to develop our sporting academy in 2009 and hope to increase the sporting codes involved.

The academy meets twice a term, for two hour sessions.  The sessions are designed to encourage and support students interests in their varying sports.

Mission

To actively promote and co-ordinate the sports offered at Hamilton Girls' High School, encouraging participation and assisting all students to realise their potential and strive for excellence in the sport of their choice.

HGHS SPORTS CLUBS

Hamilton Girls High School operates a number of Sports Clubs throughout the School.  Each club is organised by Parents and Caregivers, who have the opportunity  to establish rules and regulations for the governing of each club.  Clubs meet once a month to check the progress of teams and to decide on any changes that may need to take place.  New members are always welcome; a Club AGM is held prior to the start of each sporting season.
