Digital Technology (DGT) Department

ICT Department

The Digital Technology Department encourages students to use technology, mainly computers, to present information in a clear and appropriate manner through the use of a variety of software packages eg Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Access and Photoshop.  Students use communication and information technologies such as email and Internet to gather appropriate information efficiently.  This information can then be sifted through and used to produce presentations, either visual or hard copy.

Other technologies used in DGT classes throughout the year are digital cameras, colour and black and white printers and video cameras.
