LAP CLASSES:
These are our Learning Assistance classes. Students are placed here according to the Star Assessments (Year 8) and recommendations from their Primary School teachers.
These classes receive intensive remedial instruction in all subjects.
INTERNATIONAL ENGLISH:
These classes are intended for students from non-English speaking backgrounds who require specialized teaching in English language.
ENGLISH WITH APPLICATIONS:
These classes are intended for students who wish to focus on more practical aspects of the English curriculum or who have not achieved the prerequisite number of credits for mainstream English classes.
EXTENSION ENGLISH:
Students are placed in extension classes if they have achieved very highly in their assessments during the previous year.
TE REO PAKEHA:
Students may opt into Te Reo Pakeha at L1, L2 or L3 if they wish to study English in an environment that focuses on Maori/Pacifika texts and values.
