Course Outline:  This course will develop a student’s understanding of the concepts of Accounting and how they are applied to a range of situations related to Partnerships, Companies and Manufacturing businesses.  It will include the recording and processing of financial transactions; including a job cost system; the reporting of financial information to interested parties; and the analysis, interpretation and evaluation of financial and non-financial information to assist in making informed business decisions.

            $5.00 photocopying fee

Where does it lead?  University approved course.  A wide range of career opportunities in demanding and exciting areas will be open to students with accounting knowledge and skills.  The knowledge and skills obtained from studying accounting would be useful in any career as it deals with the management of money.  For example, careers combining Science and Management.  Universities are offering conjoint degrees with Management enabling those students to have the competitive edge.
