Course Outline:  This course has a multimedia and hardware focus which allows students to create sound and image files, understand the basic components of a computer and its peripherals, as well as covering the essential spreadsheet and database components. This course uses Macintosh computers and software.  The course has a heavy practical component using databases, spreadsheets, iLife, Open Office, Internet, iMovie. This course offers Unit Standards and is 100% internally assessed. 

Costs:   $10.00 for stationery card for printing

Where does it lead?  This course is a prerequisite for Level 3 Computer Studies or Level 3 Digital Technology.
