Subject:  Advanced Physical Education - Sport

Level:  One

Entry Requirement:   Recommendation from Year 10 PE teacher  OR Head of Department.

Course Outline:   The students will be involved in a wide range of physical activities. These will range from racquet sports, volleyball to aerobics and surf lifesaving, and will explore how physical activity relates to their total well being. There will also be a basic introduction to anatomy, biomechanics and exercise physiology.

Approximately 60% of this course is practical.

Costs:  $98.00 plus
            $28.00 for Study Guide (This includes entry to the Huntly Half Marathon) 

Days out of school:   One and a half days
