Entry Requirement:  An excellent level of achievement in the Year 10 Science assessments.  This will be judged by your Year 10 Science teacher and the Science HOD.

Course Outline:  Science is a study of the living, physical and material worlds and of our planet Earth.  Topics covered include micro-organisms, genetics, atomic structure, metals, acids and bases, electricity, force and motion, energy and earth science.  A large component of the work is based on practical laboratory work.  This course is composed of a combination of internally and externally assessed standards.
