Course Outline:   This subject is for students at years 12 and 13 who want to expereince a broad range of social science topics.  It will include aspects of Media, Social Studies, Sociology and History.  Assessments will be designed to cater for individual student needs.  It will involve a research project, looking at media issues and have a strong link to current issues and events. 

Research, analysis and writing skills will be further developed.  The course includes only internal assessments.

Cost:  $12.00 for print resources

Days out of School:  One day for field trip

Where does this lead?  This course is designed for students who maybe heading to the workforce or polytechnic courses.
