Photography

Level 2

Students will be introduced to the art of Photography using SLR digital cameras and Photoshop. They will study the work of photographers past and present in order to develop an understanding of art and image making through the lens.

Level 3

This course requires students to research information to demonstrate understanding of the Art of Photography. They will extend their creative thinking, aesthetics development, camera techniques and Photoshop editing skills. The programme places emphasis on developing the confidence, skills, critical thinking and understanding required in order to produce original work. Learners demonstrating capabilities in these areas at an early stage will be encouraged to enter the Scholarship examinations.
