Printmaking

Level 2

Throughout this course students will learn to use and apply techniques and ideas based on Printmaking processes methods and procedures both traditional and digital. Students will be inspired by researching contemporary practice and developing these ideas in their own work.

Level 3

This course requires learners to use research and drawing to systematically and critically analyse the relationships between a range and depth of ideas related to Printmaking. The programme places emphasis on developing critical facility and the confidence, skills and understanding required in producing original work. Students will use a variety of processes, materials and techniques both traditional and digital. Learners demonstrating capabilities in these areas at an early stage will be encouraged to enter the Scholarship examinations.
