The Hamilton Girls' High School Rowing Programme is one that has been developing strongly in recent seasons and is based around the foundations of passion, dedication, commitment, teamwork and discipline.
New Zealand has a strong history in rowing and is now recognised as a world super-power at the elite level - one that continues to expand based on the success of secondary schools rowing throughout the country.
This coming season HGHS wants to further develop its rowing programme and improve on its past results at local, regional and national level.
As the HGHS rowing program continues to grow more students are exposed to the great values and work ethic that are learnt through rowing and that remain with them well after they have finished rowing.
