Te Puāwaitanga

Hamilton Girls’ High Schools new-look community newsletter.

The name ‘Te Puāwaitanga’ already has a close affinity with HGHS. The name refers to the publication as a key mode of communicating the aspirations of our students and whānau, blossoming into actualisation.

The flower graphic is inspired by the Te Puawai Pin, which is awarded to students who excel in The Arts. It was originally designed in collaboration between Alison Gray and the late Jodi-Ann Tautari, and shares the same meaning as the publication.

Individual stories will often be published on our Facebook (click here) and LinkedIn (click here) pages, so be sure to follow us to keep up-to-date, and share with your friends and whānau. In addition, ‘Te Puāwaitanga’ is a monthly publication sent out to whānau via email.
