Sonninghill Hostel Accommodation & Facilities

Sonninghill Hostel is the boarding hostel for Hamilton Girls’ High School and is situated at 19A Marama Street, Frankton, Hamilton 3240. Conveniently situated within walking distance of the school, Hamilton CBD, Hamilton Lake, shopping centres, restaurants, cafés, cinemas, Waikato Stadium, and Seddon Park, Sonninghill is set amongst beautifully maintained grounds and offers comfortable and affordable accommodation for groups visiting Hamilton.

Facilities:

  • We can accommodate up to 135 guests. Accommodation consists of four dormitories within the main building with shared bathrooms, and eight senior units with ensuites.
  • Comfortable bedding provided consisting of single beds
  • Lounges, games room and recreation spaces
  • Wireless internet access throughout all indoor buildings
  • Laundry facilities
  • Dining room seats up to 120 guests, our in house catering team is highly recommended
  • Outdoor facilities include swimming pool, basketball / netball court, volleyball area and BBQ facilities.
